On 29-30 November 2023, György Szerbhorváth will participate in the international conference Kulture u zoni konflikata / Cultures in the conflict zone in Novi Sad, where he will give a presentation in Serbian entitled Sećanje na stara loša vremena - "zadatak" pisaca pre, za i posle vremena zla (Remembering the bad old days - the "task" of writers before, during and after the time of evil).
On 22 November 2023, a conference was held in the House of Parliament in Budapest on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Great Famine of 1932-33 in Ukraine, and the 20th anniversary of the Hungarian National Assembly's resolution recognizing the Holodomor as a genocide and expressing solidarity with the Ukrainian people. At the conference Csilla Fedinec gave a presentation on the Holodomor in Ukrainian historical politics

On 17 November 2023, at the conference of United Way Hungary entitled Inclusive labour market practices - what perspectives can disadvantaged young people have in the Northern Great Plain region, our colleague Judit Durst will give a presentation on the sustainable labour market integration of disadvantaged young people.
Our colleague Ferenc Eiler will give a lecture at the international conference „300 Jahre Ansiedlung der Donauschwaben – religiöse Implikationen” organised in Sindelfinegen by St. Gerhards-Werk e. V. on 18th November 2023. His presentation is entitled: Ansiedlung und Religion – Zentrale Themen der Indetitätskonstruktion der Ungarndeutschen.

A detailed report on the lecture given by Nándor Bárdi on 13 October 2023 in Komárom/Komárno , entitled: How could Fidesz shape the minority Hungarian elites? was published in the 4th November issue of Új Szó.
Our colleagues Ágnes Tóth and Réka Marchut will give a presentation at the conference entitled "Migration and Forced Displacement in the Carpathian Basin 1944-1990" organised by the Hungarian National Archives on 14 November 2023. Ágnes Tóth's lecture will be entitled: The situation of ethnic Germans returning from expulsion in Hungary 1946-1950; Réka Marchut's lecture will be entitled: The "repatriation" plans and practices of the Moldavian Csángos during and after the Second World War. The language of the conference is Hungarian.
A roundtable discussion titled "One hundred years in minority" was organised at the Faculty of Teacher Training of Selye János University in Komárom/Komárno. The book "A magyar kisebbségek 100 éve" [100 Years of the Hungarian Minorities] (Cluj-Napoca, 2023) was presented. Our Institute was represented by Nándor Bárdi.
