The Russo-Ukrainian war has been going on for 11 years, and on 19 November it was 1000 days since the start of its hottest phase, Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. On 27 November 2024, Béni L. Balogh gave a lecture at the Miskolczy Ambrus Memorial Conference organized by the Liszt Institute in Bucharest. The title of his lecture in Romanian was "Transilvania în toamna anului 1918" ("Transylvania in the Autumn of 1918").
